The AMPD Group is no stranger to downtown, managing restaurants Ten Penny and Social House 7 in addition to other restaurants in other parts of the city. The group returns with its latest concept, The Standard Market & Pint House (947 Penn), a one stop eatery, coffeehouse, arcade, and tap room that features health conscious but delicious bites opening in early March.

“Pittsburgh asked, we listened,” AMPD Group’s Vice President of Operations, Troy Goldman, says. “The venue has something to offer during all times of day, making it Pittsburgh’s one-stop-shop.”

The restaurant includes a grab and go station, that offers locally sourced coffee, fresh-pressed juices, and handcrafted breakfast sandwiches that can be enjoyed at the in house cafe between 6:00 a.m and 4:00 p.m. or on the go.

At 11:00 a.m., the two level pint house opens up featuring a wall of self-serve beer taps offering 45 beers from local breweries, rosè, wine, and seasonal cocktails; a full bar presenting local distilled and crafted liquor in addition to local and craft brews and mixologist-crafted cocktails, featuring The Standard House’s own custom line of spirits, Standard Spirits.

The pint house will also offer a sit down menu full of nutritious items created using locally sourced ingredients. These items include a Power Up Bowl made with kale, pea shoots, Medjool dates, blueberries, Grana Padano cheese, and a charred lemon vinaigrette, a Disheveled Sweet Potato topped with Irish herb butter, cranberry, hazelnut, lime, aioli, and chives, Seared Scallops served with a parsnip puree, fennel, charred carrot, pumpkins seeds, and pomegranate molasses and much more!

After a satisfying meal, patrons can have some fun at the restaurant's arcade space that includes classic games, a billiards table, shuffleboard, and darts.

We welcome our new neighbor in the Cultural District and are happy to announce they will be joining The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Dining Discount program this upcoming summer. For more information about The Standard Market & Pint House visit www.standardpgh.com.
