Near Downtown:

1 - BNY Mellon Presents JazzLive Series

The year may have changed but the BNY Mellon presents JazzLive series remains. Continue to join us every Tuesday for live jazz from some of Pittsburgh’s most prominent musicians. The winter’s line-up includes the iconic Tubby Daniels band, the very talented Alexander Peck Trio, the soulful stylings of Staciawa Abott and much more!

2 - Gallery Crawl in the Cultural District

3 - Annual One Northside Celebration

One Northside Pittsburgh invites Northside residents and employees, and their family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate the progress that has been made this past year on the Northside with food, music, and community.

4 - Bookish in the ‘Burgh, presented by Riverstone Books Teen Day

Bookish in the ‘Burgh, Pittsburgh’s Teen Book Festival, returns for a second year. Teens can look forward to panel sessions themed around popular topics common in teen literature, free writing workshops, a pop-up bookstore from the Festival’s presenting sponsor Riverstone Books, and free hands-on activities for teens led by community organizations throughout the day. Teen Day ends with  an Author Signing Party, where fans of teen literature can meet the 30+ featured authors and get their books signed. 5 - Concert Series presented by Musicians of Steel
Sunday, January 26, 2020 | 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Greentree

Musicians of Steel, If Music Be the Food, and 412 Food Rescue are joining forces to present a chamber music concert series featuring musicians of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Mozart’s compositions. This event is completely free and all donations will support 412 Food Rescue! 

6 - Unblurred: Penn Ave Arts Crawl
Friday, February 7, 2020 | 6:00 - 10:00 p.m., Bloomfield

The art crawls continue outside of the District. The first Friday of every month features a monthly art and entertainment crawl, Unblurred, organized by the Penn Avenue Arts Initiative and sponsored by The Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation. People from all over Pittsburgh stroll Penn Avenue between the 4800 and 5500 blocks to meet with artists and local business owners. Visitors can expect to experience a mix of photography, dance, painting, sculpture, music, and spoken word performances.
